Activities and Worship for Children and Young People
Everyone is warmly invited to join us for our Sunday Services. At St Mary’s, our services have a special focus on All Age Worship, so children and young people are just as much a part of our church family as anyone else. Whatever your age, we’d love you to come along, take part, and experience worship in a way that feels meaningful to you.
On the first Sunday of the month (during term time), we run Junior Church – a space where toddlers through to teenagers can discover and explore the Christian faith in ways that are fun, engaging, and age-appropriate.
We also have Stepping Stones, our friendly Toddler Group, Wednesdays in the Church Hall (not every week, see below for dates). It’s a welcoming space for pre-schoolers and their parents, grandparents, or carers to enjoy playtime, crafts, singing, and plenty of fun together.

All our leaders follow the latest Church of England Safeguarding training and have enhanced DBS checks.

Junior Church
The Junior Church meets (usually, but can change) on the 1st Sunday of each month during school term times in the Church Hall & Choir Vestry at St Mary’s. We begin all together in church at 10.40 am and then the leaders and the young people make their way during the first hymn to their various groups.
You are always welcome to accompany your child to their group if you, or they, feel unsure about anything.

Registration Form
As a part of Safeguarding Policy we ask all parents/guardians to complete a Registration Form for their child each new school year.
Stepping Stones
Stepping Stones is a morning of activities for pre-school children and their parents or carers, including Craft, Stories and Christian songs. All are welcome!
We usually meet on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of the month during Term Time at St Mary’s Church Hall (CW2 8HA) 9.30am to 11:15am.
