The APCM

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM)

What is the APCM?

The Annual Parochial Church Meeting (APCM) is effectively the AGM of the church. It is a legal requirement for a charity to hold one, but more than that, it gives an opportunity for the church to come together and rejoice in what we’ve been able to do in God’s name over the past year.

Two weeks before the APCM a Trustee and Financial Reports booklet will be available at both churches and online. This has information and reports to keep you informed on the what’s been happening at church over the past year. The report also has an examined set of accounts for the previous year.

The APCM is for all those who attend our churches on a regular basis. Only those who are on the Electoral Roll of the church can vote, if there are any issues to vote upon, but all are welcome to attend.

We usually finish the APCM with a Bring and Share Fellowship lunch in the Church Hall, a great opportunity to share a meal together and enjoy each others company more than we do each Sunday.
